By creating an account or using BalanceBuddy you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Not financial advice

BalanceBuddy is a personal budgeting tool. Payment suggestions, transfer-partner ratios, and point simulations are estimates based on the data you and the linked institutions provide and on publicly documented rewards programs. They are not financial, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying amounts before sending any payment.

Your account

You sign in with a passkey tied to your device. Keep your device secure — anyone with access to it can sign into your account. Notify us at support@balancebuddy.us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service. Do not use BalanceBuddy to store accounts that are not yours.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but provide BalanceBuddy "as is" without uptime guarantees. The service depends on third parties (Plaid, hosting provider) we do not control.

Limitation of liability

BalanceBuddy is not liable for late-payment fees, interest charges, missed rewards, transfer-partner devaluations, or other losses arising from your use of the service. Verify your payments with your bank and card issuer.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via the dashboard or email.
